Install all the packages in the ordinary way, start by installing DJ-Tab Generator component first.

Navigate Extensions > Install/Uninstall

Choose the package and press Upload File & Install

The DJ-Tab Generator component allows you to create tabs from the selected content (sections, categories, articles and even single modules).

See the basic steps to configure DJ-Tab Generator component:

• Create a group
• Create an item

Navigate Extensions > DJ Tab Generator

You will see a page with empty list of group:

Let's start with creating an example group.

Press Add at the top panel, then fill an inputbox with a group name:

Now we can pass on to create an individual item of a group.

Choose your group and press Add button to create a tab. Before doing this, take a look at parameters view, where you can set items configuration.

Short description:

• Element's name – enter a name of item
• Type – select section/category/article/module position where you want to display a content from
• Section/Category id/Article/Module Position – select a proper item
• Elements count – number of items to display in this tab
• Characters count – number of chars of a short description
• Open cards count – number of open items in tab
• Show image – show/hide content images
• Float – select image position
• Image width (e.g. 100px or 50%) – image with measured in px or %

At least one tab has to be entered to make your component (or module) work correctly.

Navigate to a menu where you want to create a link and select DJ Tab Generator from a menu item type.

Choose Tabs link and then you see a configuration page of displaying tab component.

Short description:

• Group – group name to display
• Module style active – turn off if you have special classes in your template css file
• Sort direction – ASC ascending, DESC descending
• Sort by – choose the odrder of displaying items
• Class suffix – a suffix to be applied to the CSS class of the component, this allows for individual component stylings
• Duration – sepcifies the time in ms of moving duration
• Transition – specifies the moving tab style
• Type – type of moving (not applicable to linear)

Another way to show a content of DJ Tab Generator is by using DJ Tab Generator module. The module displays content of a group created by DJ-Tab Generator component.

Look at a configuration view and short description of parameters.

Short description:

• Group Id – group name to display
• Module Class Suffix – suffix to be applied to the CSS class of the module. This allows for individual module styling
• Module style active – turn off if you have special classes in your template css file
• Order – ASC ascending, DESC descending
• Order by – choose the odrder of displaying items
• Duration – specifies the time in ms of moving duration
• Effect – specifies the moving tab style
• Type – type of moving (not applicable to Linear)
